Other Endurance Highlights

Ultra Running & Gravel Racing

Alongside his triathlon career, Pedro has built an impressive résumé in ultra and trail running. In 2023, he stormed to a 3rd place finish at the Javelina Jundred 100K in Arizona, one of North America’s most competitive desert ultras, completing the course in 8:24. He has also stood on the podium at classic Arizona trail races, including 3rd at the Mesquite Canyon 50K (2024), and proved his speed over mountainous terrain with a win at the 7 Cidades Ultimate Trail 40K (2025) in Portugal’s Azores. Additional strong results include top-10 finishes at the Crown King Scramble 50K (2024) and the Canyons Endurance Runs 50K (2023) in California. These performances highlight Pedro’s versatility and endurance, showing that his talent extends well beyond triathlon into the world of ultra-running and mountain racing. Gravel racing is something that is also always on Pedro's radar, and he deeply enjoys. While on the gravel side only a win at the prestigious Bear Howard Gravel Race in Flagstaff (2023) and a win at BWR AZ Wanna Ride  (2024) would be of notable reference, there's still a lot of room for racing in the future!
